DIPLOMA IN PHARMACY

  • The course shall be for two academic years, with each academic year spread over a period of minimum 240 working days. In addition, 500 hours of practical training spread over a minimum period of three months is compulsory.

  • Candidates must obtain 40% marks in each subject (Theory and Practical). Candidate failing in two subjects can be allowed for the second year on the basis of ATKT.

  • For admission to first the year Diploma Course in Pharmacy, the candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC)/Std.XII in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics and English.

  • Application forms for admission are available in the college office between 10.00 am. and 05.00 pm. on all working days (except Govt. holidays and Sundays). Forms duly completed must be supported with certified and attested photocopies. The reservations of seats for various categories are as per Govt. rules and notifications. All admissions are made as per the rules laid down by the D.T.E. Mumbai.

  • The fee structure of the college in on the Web site and Notice Board and is approved by the “Fees Regulatory Authority, Mumbai”.

Rules & Regulations

  • Students should be regular and punctual in class attendance, tutorials and Submission of term work of various subjects. Students will not be permitted to appear for examinations if their progress, conduct or attendance is not Satisfactory.

  • 80% attendance in Theory and Practical is compulsory. Students failing to Comply with this requisition will be detained.

  • Wearing an apron is compulsory when working in the laboratories. A metallic name plate must be displayed on the apron.

  • Smoking, drinking alcohol and use of drugs is strictly prohibited in the college premises.

  • Ragging of students in any form inside or outside the college is strictly prohibited.

  • The collage shall not accept any responsibility for a student’s failure to read the notices in time.

  • Use of mobile phones in college premises is strictly prohibited.

  • Any change in the address of a student must be immediately intimated to college office in writing.

  • In case, student wishes to remain absent for some genuine reason prior permission should be taken from the principal.

  • If any statement or information supplied by a student in connection with admission is at any time found to be false or incorrect, admission will be cancelled, fees forfeited, and the student expelled by the Principal, and liable to prosecution by the Government if deemed necessary.

  • All students will be bound by the rules and regulations of the college.

  • No student will be allowed to appear for MSBTE examination unless all dues have been paid, manuals completed and terms kept satisfactorily.

  • College has must be paid before filling the annual examination form. All original documents and leaving certificates will be returned after completion of the course and after submission of NO DUES certificate from the concerned department.
